This role serves to support the human capital core process and projects for multiple businesses within Care Solutions. Working with human capital leaders, define, articulate and execute core human capital process best practices in area including talent, performance and compensation, onboarding, manager support, learning opportunities and more. Align tactics with business priorities. Support delivery of programs and solutions directly to business lines with HC lead support. Respond to key requests and lead special projects. Join a HR team focused on delivering strong employee experience, business value and outcomes for growth, and a positive culture of support to build strong leaders. Role will have opportunity to interact and engage with client groups. This opportunity provides broad experience and development across multiple human capital priorities and teams, business units and COE interactions enabling deep systems thinking and application, strong technical experience, influencing and planning skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as core process delivery lead creating timelines, communication materials, and facilitating actions in the areas of
  • Annual talent reviews
  • Preparation and execution for common review
  • Employee communications and culture initiatives
  • Onboarding
  • Manager best practices and tools.
  • Core delivery/enterprise deliverables enabling Sr. HCP to focus on business imperatives and executing critical administrative deliverables (i.e. COVID vaccine, flexible work arrangements, competitive market compensation adjustment eligibility review/validation, etc)
  • Lead key special projects
  • Analyze key information, create feedback mechanism, and provide recommended action to Human Capital Business Partners
  • Facilitate meeting agenda creation through the project key milestones.
  • Data and Analytics
  • Lead monthly data reporting for Human Capital partners on key trends through our central human capital data source (DOMO)
  • Support employee experience survey core process across care solution business lines

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree and/or related field
  • 5+ years of human resources experience. (Experience in large matrixed organization preferred)
  • 2+ years of Human Resource core process experience in areas such as compensation, performance review, talent review, and onboarding.
  • Experience with leading manager effectiveness and manager development actions
  • Experience at developing business presentations for key audiences and developing messaging around key timelines, required actions, and delivered outcomes
  • Experience in coordinating & facilitating important events such as talent reviews, calibrations, feedback sessions, customer meetings including agenda setting and deck creation
  • Advanced level presentation and PowerPoint skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Process skill in laying out clearly defined process and managing deliverables across multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build relationships cross-functionally and lead toward common goals, influence and lead without authority
  • Proven ability to execute against timelines and within an environment of organizational change
  • Demonstrate and operate with high degree of flexibility, professionalism, and urgency

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
