Construction Business Group is a Madison-based construction trade association looking to add an Office Administrator/Research Assistant to its team. The job duties include:
???Support the Executive Director
???Preparation of board materials and meeting minutes
???Maintain electronic and paper business records (AR, AP, etc.) and coordinate with the outside bookkeeping and accounting vendor
???Research public databases, including CCAP, PACER, Better Business Bureau, OSHA, DOL, state departments of commerce, tax liens, etc.
???Submit open records requests to federal, state and local agencies
???Maintain Constant Contact database
???Meeting and special events planning and execution
???Supply ordering/tracking and vendor relations
???Travel coordination
???Respond to information requests from staff, members and industry partners
Education/Experience: 4-year college degree or 7+ years of equivalent work experience. Recent college graduates are welcome to apply.
Experience/skills: Database management, attention to detail and strong research skills are required. Team-mindedness and flexibility also a must. Some experience with legal research and public contracting a plus.
Hours: Full-time position
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience, fully-paid family health coverage, generous defined-benefit pension, and other benefits.
