Position Summary
The Finance & Financial Aid Business Analyst will work with functional and technical teams, as well as third-party vendors to provide best practice and guidance for the Student Information System (SIS) Financial Aid module and Finance System, associated applications and third-party integrations. This position will provide technical data setup, functional and technical support, and will work as the link between end-users, project managers, technical teams, and third-party vendors to improve processes and implement technology.

Duties & Responsibilities
Support the successful implementation of critical college projects through business analysis design and delivery for our stakeholders.

Maintain the Financial Aid module, maximizing the use of existing software tools to meet federal, state, and institutional financial aid requirements, as well as any new tool implementations.

Maintain financial aid procedures (SOPs) and documentation.

Provide technical expertise to collaborate with functional users in the resolution of issues affecting day-to-day operations with the Financial Aid module of the Student Information System (SIS) and the Finance System, as well as third-party integrations.

Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Financial Aid module of the Student Information System (SIS) and Finance System.

Identify end-user training needs, create training plans, develop training materials, and conduct training sessions that drive systems acceptance.

Utilize multiple external resources for research, trouble shooting, and proactive actions.

Research existing and new functionality within the Financial Aid module and Finance System and provide recommendations to stakeholders for business solutions.

Determine testing requirements together with end-users and the technical team and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Perform yearly setup, update, and periodic changes of federal, state, and agency regulations to administrative applications. Test, resolve, document, and communicate completed processes.

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations.

Provide support to functional users via tickets received through the help desk.

Serve as a resource for the Student Information System (SIS) as needed.

Perform as liaison between legacy systems and new system implementations.

Work with the college s IT department on technical issues and new initiatives for the Financial Aid module and Finance system.

Create or modify queries and reports for Financial Aid and/or Finance teams.

Qualifications
Associate degree in Information Systems, Finance, or related field required. Bachelor s degree preferred.

Minimum of three years of experience in supporting student information systems, financial systems, or similar experience.

Knowledge of information systems, database table structures, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics.

Must possess excellent problem resolution, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.

Must possess ability to:
