Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant as part of Technology Business Systems within our Consumer Lending Team. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at .

In this role you will:
  • Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems
  • Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements
  • Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems
  • Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions
  • Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables
  • Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams
This position will be expected to:
  • Refine User Stories, getting approval on stories from Product Owner / Product Manager
  • Write acceptance criteria for approval by the Product Owner / Product Manager
  • Refine complex product requirements down into consumable artifacts that teams can execute against
  • Support the Product Area teams to define non-functional requirements and tech enablers
  • Participate in Prioritization & Planning, Feature Refinement, Sprint planning and Backlog refinement events
  • Facilitate syncs with Product Managers and Product Owners to verify health of the Product, track escalated risks/issues, and share analytics
  • Identify and communicating improvement opportunities for the next planning increment
  • Work with delivery team to support data conditioning for testing
  • Coordinate with Product Owners to ensure alignment on Product vision and strategy
  • Work with other Teams to manage and align dependencies


Required Qualifications, US:
  • 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
  • Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring
  • Experience moving teams and organizations from Waterfall to Agile methodologies and Agile Transformations
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to partner effectively across functional, operational and business lines.
  • Self-starter with ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; must be able to effectively communicate and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, competing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
  • Agile experience within Card Operations, Merchant Services or Consumer Lending
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment
  • Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions
  • 3+ years of Agile experience, including:
    • JIRA and Confluence expertise
    • Experience breaking work down into features, stories, and increments for delivery
    • Experience in Agile Kanban and/or Scrum SDLC methodologies
