The MMSC Program Management Associate Manager will lead the performance of the following tasks: responsible for ship design oversight and interface with manager level internal functional counterparts required to execute all ship design program scope and address issues at the working level including but not limited to staffing, overall technical, schedule, cost performance, risk and opportunity identification and sales. Coordinates across the multifunctional team to review proposed industry changes, evaluate internal BOEs and subcontractor proposals, prepare business case analysis for program change boards, and serve as the program office representative for all necessary activities required for change implementation and closeout.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
??? Primary program office interface to design engineering team leadership to include Deputy Technical Director, EPM, and SEIT Lead
??? Program office representative to engineering and program level change boards
??? Program Management oversight for C018 Drawing completion and delivery in accordance with contract
??? While the job location is open to Washington, DC, Moorestown, NJ and Marinette, WI the job will require regular customer interface at the 300 M St SE, Washington DC location and travel to multiple sites where MMSC scope is executed. Approx 20% travel expected.Specifics of the position include:

Basic Qualifications:
??? Appropriate degree from an accredited college
??? Strong leadership skills
??? Proven experience and understanding of Earned Value Management metrics & Control Account Management Processes
??? Ability to establish priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and bring matters/issues to successful closure, all while priorities are changing
??? Strong written and oral communication skills
??? Able to think and act strategically and tactically from a broad business perspective
??? Ability to obtain security clearance
Desired Skills:
??? Technical background and/or experience interfacing with the engineering function
??? Experience with Naval Sea Systems Command administered shipbuilding and/or integrated combat systems programs
??? Program Management / IPT leadership experience within large, complex program with major subcontractors desired
??? Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
??? Ability to analyze complex data and develop corrective actions
??? Experience in manufacturing environment; shipbuilding experience seen as a plus
??? CAM certification desired
