Position Overview:

The focus of this position is to provide accounting support for the Johnson Fitness & Wellness retail stores, and JHT Trading, Inc. channels - Specialty, Retail Parts Sales, IPO and Wellness. This is a non-supervisory position.

Responsibilities:

Budgeting and Forecasting:

?? Support Financial Reporting requirements for actual results and projections for one or more business units

?? Assist with developing the annual budget and operating plan

Accounting Duties MAY include:

?? Development and entry of monthly journal entries and reclassifications

?? Reconciliation and maintenance of assigned general ledger accounts

?? Provide information and assist with quarterly reviews and year end audit

?? Develop and implement procedures and policies to improve financial practices

?? Work with Purchasing to develop and update product standard costs in SAP and Iridium.

?? Analyze inventory variances, implement corrective actions if necessary

?? Monthly and weekly inventory report preparation

?? Organize the annual physical inventory process and track status and net variance for the entire company

?? Work with Operations to improve freight bill processing and impact to the Prepaid Freight account

?? After Markets Product and Sales financial reporting and variance analysis

?? Other duties as assigned

. Requirements:

Education:

?? Bachelor's degree in Accounting

?? Additional education, such as MBA or CPA, a plus

Experience:

?? Minimum 2-3 years in prior accounting or related experience

?? Audit experience desired, either internal or independent CPA firm

?? Experience with SAP is preferred

?? Cost accounting and physical inventory background preferred

Other Requirements:

?? Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

?? Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, able to clearly communicate financial information in easy to understand manner at multiple levels and functions within the business

?? Strong system skills - experience with SAP (FI, MM & SD modules), BW, Microsoft CRM and Adaptive Insights preferred

?? Strong analytical skills

?? Clear problem solving and investigative skills

?? Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

?? Strong understanding of management accounting
