Salary Range: $29.50 - $44.00

Pay Info: $7500 sign-on bonus for IH Therapist; $3600 sign-on bonus for IH Counselor. Both with 3-year commitment.

Family Medicine is a growing group of clinics across the community. This position is part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team consisting of physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, care managers, and nursing. We provide direct patient care for all stages of life and have a very family focused approach to care.

Pay range for the Integrated Health Counselor is $26.00 - 38.50; pay range for the Integrated Health Therapist is $29.50 - 44.00.

Job Summary

We re seeking a professional, empathetic, and respectful Integrated Health Therapist (IHT) who is able to provide clinical diagnoses for treatments and create individual treatment plans for patients experiencing issues related to mental and behavioral health, chemical health, psychosocial aspects of health and disease, and lifestyle management. At Sanford, Integrated Health Therapists have the opportunity to specialize and work in a variety of settings such as oncology, inpatient settings, and children s specialty clinics. Responsibilities
  • Comfortable providing coverage across all populations and patients with co-morbid medical conditions
  • Provides diagnostic assessments, onsite crisis assessments and interventions, determining need for ongoing care according to level of clinical ability, medical and psychosocial complexity
  • Competent in multiple counseling modalities, making appropriate referrals, and providing educational services
  • Serves as the primary team consultant to promote understanding of the relationship between health and psychological/behavioral factors
  • Works closely with other PCMH or PCC team members to address psychosocial and cultural elements of health and disease pertinent to the patient s ability to manage their acute and chronic conditions
  • Documents in a responsible, accountable and ethical manner to promote safe, reliable patient centered care

Qualifications

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Behavioral Health Sciences required; graduation from an accredited school preferred. License must be in good standing in state(s) of practice. In North Dakota, must possess one of the following licenses:

Integrated Health Therapist:
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Integrated Health Counselor:
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

In some states, will consider candidates seeking licensure by reciprocity in instances where obtaining licensure in the state of practice can be accomplished within 90 days of hire. This will require the candidate to review and compare their current state issued license to practice with regulations for the independent practice of clinical social work/professional counseling in the state of practice and ensure that timely acquisition of licensure is possible based on comparisons of statutes, educational, and clinical requirements. Non-licensed candidates must provide documentation that they are in the process of obtaining appropriate license.
