Role: Java Engineer with Medical Device
Location:- Minneapolis, MN (Onsite Day 1)
Duration:- Long Term Contract
*** 2 years minimum, 3+ years preferred. Looking for experience with Java, Linux, Mobile (Bluetooth) and working in a regulated environment (Medical Tech/Devices ). Work on a new PaceMaker application - so a ton of FDA oversight. Work ONSITE in the Lab in Minneapolis as they will be working on the actual devices themselves.
- 2 main projects right now, would be working on one of them
- Working on a new application to support a new pacemakers new class
- Probably going to span the better part of the next 3 years (could be 4-5 years)
- Support app dev/feature development within the app (communicate with the device)
- Need to be able to do MICS
- Experience with any wireless protocols would be a plus
- App and feature development in Java
- Smaller focus areas above
- Need to be a strong app developer within Java
- Someone who has developed android apps within Java
- Linux experience is a huge
- Java and Linux top 2
- Medtec or defense (regulated industries a huge plus)
- Any scripting language is needed (python, perl, shell scripting), stronger proficiency
- Replacing an existing contractor that converted full time
- 2 years minimum
- Work a minimum of 3 days in the Lab Tuesday-Thursday (for now, may go in more days a week)
