What you will do
The Application Delivery leader is responsible of delivering enterprise scale best of breed' digital marketing capabilities to enable and support our Global Marketing stakeholders, including Fire, Security and HVAC business verticals. This leader will an opportunity to be at the forefront of helping define and shape our organizations current drive to standardize and simplify the global digital marketing technology landscape and drive towards customer centricity.
How you will do it
Lead and manage internal and external technical delivery resources for all project workstreams
Accountable for Build/Test/Deploy - Ensure projects delivered to Time/Cost & Scope
Provide technical leadership and innovation across the solution development
Liaise with Platform Architect to validate solution proposals
Liaise with CoE Architects to align solution to the Marketing Technology Reference architecture
Assist Solution Delivery Leader in Detailed Level Estimation as part of Initiate and Planning Phase as required.
Work with Project Manager to define project plan (eg, project delivery tasks, milestones) and coordinate the alignment of dependencies within the project
Lead and set standards for technical reviews, peer reviews, and feedback cycles
Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver projects in alignment with technical and business requirements
Resolve workstream-specific technical risks and issues
Provide status updates around workstream scope, resources, deliverables, and timelines to the Project Manager on an agreed schedule
Prepare work and resource plans for each phase of the workstream
Drive benefit realization and delivery of intended results in partnership with the IT business partner and project sponsor
Support Project Manager in providing updates to Program Managers and Steering Committees
Verify with Business Partners, Operations, and Information Security that the solution meets quality and performance requirements
Work with vendors and suppliers to evaluate options for solutions and services ensuring external requirements and features are incorporated into solution designs
Drive adoption of Lean Agile practices, and Systems Thinking
Facilitate all Agile events and iterations
Manage resolution of interpersonal conflicts and issues beyond the team's authority to keep team focused on iteration goals and program objectives
Help the Business Lead manage the team backlog by guiding team to focus on priorities
Foster a culture of technical discipline, craftsmanship, and innovation
Communicate with management and outside stakeholders to limit any uncontrolled expansion of work
Manage team performance metrics (eg, burndown chart, velocity, capacity) in the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
Hold accountability for team's commitments, and in cases of failure, communicate failure points, repercussions, and next steps to the ART
What we look for
Extensive experience defining and delivering enterprise Digital Marketing solutions
Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, single sign on, master data management and marketing reference architecture
Minimum of 8-10 years Digital Marketing experience, inclusive of:
- Delivery of large-scale Websites and management of complex, multi-regional Web development teams (specifically Sitecore SXA )
- Knowledge of Marketing Automation platforms such as Eloqua and Pardot
- Knowledge of Marketing Resource and DAM platforms (specifically Aprimo)
- Familiarity with Marketing Analytics platforms (eg Salesforce Tableau, Power BI, Datorama, Informatica MDM, Entytle)
Bachelors degree in a technical or business management field, or equivalent combination of education, training & experience
A real passion for transforming businesses through technology
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Proven ability to rapidly learn new technologies
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Able to effectively develop and deliver materials that are appropriate for the audience
Experience with Azure DevOps
Understanding of Agile methodologies, values, and principles
Strong experience in the following business process areas: Campaign Mgmt, Lead/Prospect mgmt, Marketing Automation, Marketing Analytics, Partner/Channel Management
Industry experience in Manufacturing is desirable
Travel of up to 25%, but can be higher or lower based on business and project needs.
