Position Summary:

The Human Resources Recruiter role for Cold Spring Brewing Co. is responsible for the process, from start to finish, in sourcing, recruitment, screening, onboarding & orienting all candidates to staff the talent needs of the organization. This is an on-site, full-time position. This is a great opportunity, for the qualified person, to join a growing and thriving department and organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source, recruit, and interview applicants.
  • Screen & onboard selected candidates.
  • Take ownership of candidate experience by posting accurate job postings, job descriptions and position requirements
  • Lead New Hire Orientation meetings.
  • Schedule and attend career fairs to generate qualified candidates.
  • Partner with employment agencies to fill positions based on the needs of the organization.
  • Submit weekly temp employee hours; generate weekly hours reports; invoice approval.
  • Adhere to applicable budgets.
  • Track, monitor & report on progress of recruitment efforts to budgeted headcount.
  • In collaboration with hiring supervisors, managers & directors, facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiation of employment terms.
  • Coordinate, maintain, and generate Human Resources related files and records, maintaining both hard and digital copies.
  • Input, process and/or maintain information for new hires ensuring timely completion of all documentation.
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries/requests as needed or re-direct to appropriate person on the team.
  • Distribute documentation such as status forms for employee information changes to title, status, pay, department, address, etc.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and minimum of 1-3 years' experience or combination of education and experience in similar HR role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to comprehend policies as they apply internally as well as relative to labor laws
  • Professional, team player with a positive attitude & proactive mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
  • Excellent organizational & time management skills
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems - ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
  • Strong understanding & compliance with handling confidential information
  • This position works primarily in an office environment, but may spend up to 10% of their time in the production environment or out of the office
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
