Maintenance / Groundskeeper

The Maintenance / Groundskeeper is responsible for overseeing both grounds and property maintenance of our Mobile Home community. The Maintenance / Groundskeeper will also assist the our Maintenance Manager with the daily upkeep of the Mobile Home Community

***Full Time, M-F 8am -5pm *** Starting at $15 / hour + Bonus and Commission opportunity***

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AS A MAINTENANCE / GROUNDSKEEPER:

• Primarily responsible for the daily upkeep of the grounds and appearance of the property; upkeep of community grounds and common areas, creating and maintaining curb appeal
• Managing watering system to optimize turf conditions
• Edging, blowing, cleaning
• Responsible for the Maintenance of lawn maintenance equipment.
• Clean space(s) as vacated, hallways, and grounds as needed
• Clean office, restrooms and common areas daily
• Performs physical site inspections of facilities
• Repairs such as plumbing and sprinkler repairs
• Maintains physical structure of establishment including landscaping
• A general knowledge of site management that includes customer service skills and daily operational knowledge is required.
• And additional items as needed

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MAINTENANCE/GROUNDSKEEPER:

• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Be proficient in the use of a computer.
• Be able to deal with conflict and handle in a professional and calm manner.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Be able to bend over easily in order to open unit doors, weed facility grounds, sweep, etc.
• Be able to read and understand documents including policy manual, checklists, rental leases and other rental legal forms.
• Successfully complete background check
