HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities):
The primary function of the Mechanical Test Technician I will perform routine engine dyno, bench and field testing and will assist in operation of the Test-Tech facility of Lubrication Technologies.
Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):
* Perform fabrication of test fixtures and mounting systems.
* Maintain engine test lab and equipment. Repair test stands and fixtures, repair date acquisition and control systems.
* Troubleshoot engine, dyno, control, electrical, and mechanical problems, and repair.
* Perform additions and mixing of fuels and lubricants as well as coolants and cleaners.
* Install and remove engine test stands from test cell, install, and remove engines from engine test stands.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
* Power sports and/or small engine experience.
* Ability to effectively communicate with teammates, customers, and vendors.
* Proficiency using a computer and the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and PowerPoint software.
* Proficiency with hand and power tools
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART (Preferred Qualifications):
* Vertical mill, lathe, and fabrication experience a plus.
* Above average mechanical aptitude skills.
