What You Will Contribute:

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will report directly to the Accounting Manager. This role will manage a team of accounts payable specialists and ensure timely and accurate review, processing and payment of vendor invoices. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will also be responsible for the Company's business licenses and travel expense program.

RESPONSIBILITY

* Manage a team of 2-4 individuals including interviewing, training, and annual review process.
* Ensure timely and accurate entry of invoices, including triple match of invoice and validation of proper approval based on authority matrix.
* Assist team in solving problems and answering interdepartmental questions
* Ensure accounts payable procedures are done in accordance with internal controls over vendor changes and cash payments.
* Execute weekly vendor payments, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors, including analyzing vendor discounts, on hold invoices and general working capital requests.
* Preparation of monthly journal entries for accrued receipts and accounts payable as part of the standard month end close process.
* Responsible for the management of the Company's Travel and Entertainment program, including administration of Concur and Motus.
* Responsible for monitoring the Company's business licenses and initiating timely renewals and payments. This includes working with the legal department on compliance as needed.
* Apply a continuous improvement mindset to all processes and suggest and help to implement process improvements.
* Strong attention to detail, sound judgement and good communication skills across all levels of the organization.
* Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Three or more years in a related position
* Associate's degree required in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
* Previous experience with Microsoft Office Products; Intermediate experience with Excel
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong problem solving skills
* Previous experience doing data entry

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Four plus years experience as a supervisor
* Experience using Concur and IntelliChief
