We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Quality Manager to join our team in St. Nazianz. The Quality Manager oversees the plant and Quality Team activities including planning and implementation of the company quality management program. In addition, you will be a key member in the plant's continuous improvement activities and initiatives.

Responsibilities

* Represent manufacturing plant on all quality related programs and initiatives. Act as key liaison between plant operations and internal (leadership, commercial brands, etc.) and external personnel (customers, dealers, etc.)
* Develop and lead policies, procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations to maintain company quality standards of existing products and services, as well as developing programs to focus employees on quality improvement.
* Coordinate and conduct nondestructive examination (NDE) and quality control (QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at different stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards.
* Act as a key leadership member of the Continuous Improvement team
* Perform data analysis to identify deviations from standards, assess trends and opportunities, and/or confirm compliance with established standards.
* Assures quality of products and processes, including standard procedures (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14000 family of standards), quality audits/review, Taguchi methods, process reengineering, etc.
* Other related duties as assigned.

The annual salary for this position is $101,000-155,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, or other technical discipline
* 6 or more years of experience to include manufacturing, engineering, quality, Lean/Continuous Improvement activities

The ideal candidate will have:

* 2 or more years of supervisor/team lead/manager experience is highly desired
* Experience in a manufacturing environment including weld/fab etc
* Experience leading a quality team
* Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement experience
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Proficient ability in Microsoft Office Applications required
* Proven project management experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills - team player a must
* Excellent prioritization skills with strong organizational and planning abilities
* Demonstrated passion for their customer and experience driving Voice of Customer into manufacturing operations
* Firm understanding of quality assurance with a focus on robust quality controls
* Ability to work under minimal direction - extensive amount of independent thinking is required
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills
