Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in defining features backlog and specifying requirements. Partners with the Product team and the Engineering team to facilitate technology discussion and strategy with business needs and company reference architecture. Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources. Cooperate with and manage external vendors as required. Manage procurement and onboarding process. Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required. Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project. Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting. Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations. Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure quality of deliverables are well managed and adhere to appropriate standards and best practices as set by cross functional teams. Manage Portfolio program operation mechanisms to drive portfolio health, product cost and value, and monitor Portfolio risks. Use a high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, technology, or engineering. Work closely with SBU teams, collect, and prioritize new features, functionalities, and improvement requirements from region customers and commercial teams based on customer value, industry trend, competitive landscape, growth dynamics, speed to market, technical roadmap and return of investment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering, and 10 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's degree experience in a related occupation required. The position also requires: 7 years of program management experience, including executing programs that span global locations; 3 years of experience executing software delivery using Agile methodologies and knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); 3 years of experience with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards; and 2 years of experience with project planning tools: Rally, Confluence, Smartsheet and PPM tools. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report/appear into/at GE Healthcare IITS USA Corp. at 9900 W Innovation Dr, Wauwatosa, WI 53226.
