As a Senior Software Automation Engineer, you'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the setup, maintenance, and ongoing development of continuous build/integration pipelines and API development to advance automation and DevOps processes for our Contact Center.

As a Senior Software Automation Engineer, you will be a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with development teams to define software solutions
  • Design and maintain automation pipelines
  • Write effective APIs
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Create security and data protection settings
  • Write technical documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Automation Engineering using Configuration Management Tools (Ansible, Chef)
  • 3+ years of experience in Application Development using JAVA and/or Python

Preferred Qualifcations:

  • 3+ years of experience with Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins, XL Deploy, Artifactory)
  • Experience with Hashi Corp Products (Terraform, Vault)
  • Experience with Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies, such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with Genesys PSDK
  • Experience with Weblogic
  • Experience with MS SQL
  • Sound knowledge of Linux Administration
  • Sound skills with scripting languages, such as YAML, Ruby, Bash, Groovy

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
