The role of Consultant, IT Organizational Change Management working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will be part of the Organizational Change Management Team within the greater IT Project Delivery Team. The person is responsible for providing change management support, collaboration and execution for small to medium IT projects and IT-supported efforts within Molson Coors. In this role, the Consultant, IT Organizational Change Management will create sustainable, relevant and meaningful change management strategies, plans and deliverables to support the changes coming from the IT portfolio as well as driving adoption of these changes.

The Consultant, IT Organizational Change Management will work with leaders and employees at all levels in the organization. The Consultant, IT Organizational Change Management will act as a coach for leaders in helping them fulfill the role of a change sponsor and help provide direction, support and coaching to all levels of managers as they help their direct reports through the necessary transitions.

The Responsibilities: Note: Not all activities below will be needed on every project the Consultant, IT Organizational Change Management works on.

Apply an organizational-specific structured methodology and lead change management activities: Apply change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required to make the project and business successful. This will include leadership engagement, communication, knowledge management, training and organizational alignment.
Lead communication efforts: Lead the design, development, delivery and management of communications to all stakeholders and impacted teams.
Assess the change impact: Conduct impact assessment, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders across the organization, impacted by the change.
Support training efforts: Provide input, document requirements and support the design, development and implementation of training, including knowledge, skill and capability building.
Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead change management assessments & pulse surveys to track readiness and adoption
  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Consult and coach Project and Business Teams
  • Support and engage senior leaders (including C-level executives)
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Manage/Engage stakeholders
  • Track and report issues
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Be able to coordinate with business resources from other locations on scheduling/logistics
  • Adhere to Molson Coors project methodologies, deliverables, and templates
  • Facilitate sessions via Microsoft Teams and other Collaboration Technologies
  • Conduct or assist with training delivery
  • Effective at building relationships (due to working across all levels of the organization)

The Other Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience working in Change Management, Project Management, and/or Training & Development or with a related business management experience.
  • You are a strong change management professional with significant experience executing IT project work streams for Change Management, Training and/or process improvement activities.
  • Travel will be required and you are on board to travel about 25% of the time.
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
  • Experience of working with external implementation partners
  • Familiarity with project management approaches (desired Agile and Waterfall), tools and phases of the project lifecycle, as well as, experience with large-scale, organizational change efforts
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to influence others (including a field-based audience) and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Forward-looking with a holistic approach
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization and with different regions that have different understandings and level of support for the project
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges, as well as cultural differences
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment going through a lot of change
