Summary:
Beacon Hill is partnering with a local fortune 500 financial services firm who is looking for a talented marketing professional to lead large scale marketing initiatives for our employer benefits business. With a strong focus on customer service and consultative selling you will develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns targeting the employees of our employer clients to drive awareness, education and enrollment of Group insurance products. Products include various types of life insurance, supplemental health, financial wellness and a growing product portfolio seeking to drive enrollment and revenue growth.
We seek a strategic and dynamic self-starter with a well-rounded foundation of cross-discipline marketing skills, and the ability to adapt them to a rapidly evolving marketing organization. We are looking for someone with a roll-up your sleeves and 'get it done' mentality to work with cross-functional teams to serve our clients, provide consulting solutions and execute key initiatives. This motivating individual must be able to think at a high-level and guide fast implementation and measurement.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Consult, collaborate, and manage the development of integrated marketing programs from concept to creation through to execution, evaluation, and optimization.
Develop and implement marketing programs with strong market and audience positioning in concert with sales, service, divisional and corporate partners.
Craft strategies to better nurture customers towards critical actions - product adoption, event signups, training, etc.
Educate stakeholders, partners, and clients about our products and services.
Consults, influences, and negotiates with stakeholders for best campaign outcome.
Creates and executes the marketing plan focused on product adoption and overall success of our customers.
Bring market and audience positioning to life by guiding the development of multi-channel marketing programs; and create campaign marketing communication plans that drive growth in the consideration of financial product solutions.
Act as a collaborator and liaison in aligning all stakeholders to execute multi-channel tactics consistent with campaign objectives, desired marketing mix, segmentation and targeting, while ensuring channel partner needs are considered in every program and campaign.
Find new approaches to lead nurturing, including but not limited to content strategies and channels like email, social media, print, and events. Practice's debate, prioritization, and experimentation.
Solve for and collaborate on actions that are in the customer's best interest.
Advocate internally that all teams solve for the customer and channel partners and acts in like manner. You are their biggest fan within the company and understand that their success means our success.
Support and apply legal, compliance, and risk mitigating criteria that support the company's risk management standards that serve the best interest of our customers.
Test, measure, and analyze marketing programs and campaigns across multiple criteria.
Evaluate marketing programs and campaigns across multiple criteria including relevant KPIs, response rates, cost/revenue analysis, qualitative key learnings, and overall results.
Plan and execute optimization strategies based on the results and data to convert leads into customers.
Prepare and present program and campaign results.
Consult, collaborate, and manage initiatives that help advance innovation, efficiency, and effectiveness of marketing.
Contribute to key marketing projects. Independently manage recurring or mid-size projects.
Attend and execute a limited number of channel partner engagements, e.g., discovery, sales, service, or benefit fair meeting.
Qualifications:
Excellent strategic skills and strong customer service and consultative selling skills.
Strong written communication skills. Knowledge of the latest marketing innovations: segmentation, customer journeys, key messaging and digital communications and campaigns.
Proficiency with metrics, analytics, budgets, and time management.
Ability to grasp complex financial concepts and communicate them effectively, succinctly, and appropriately for each medium.
Critical thinking skills and problem-solving ability to be an effective consultant with clients and partners; and the ability to present ideas, negotiate and problem solve.
Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills to effectively balance multiple projects in a fast-paced sales and marketing environment.
Ability to learn and understand the mindsets of our target audiences and of the employer benefits industry (i.e., life insurance, supplemental health, and financial wellness.)
Self-starter who can assess needs, make independent decisions, and determine action plans to deliver impactful results
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
