.The position of Business Intelligence Analyst Sr supports the company’s regional development and evolution of business intelligence. Responsibilities include designing, creating, and maintaining solutions which provide insights to stakeholders. Success of these solutions is gauged by the optimization of the efficiencies and performance results they canvas. Work with business stakeholders and dealer channels to understand the specific uses-cases and requirements of business intelligence solutions. This individual will be responsible for providing analysis, reports, dashboards, subscriptions, and other solutions aligned with company strategy.

This position is open to Bismarck, ND or West Fargo, ND. Hybrid work arrangement is available with 2-3 days per week at the office and the balance from home/remote.
 

Role & Responsibility

  • Translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Identify data requirements needed to effectively manage performance
  • Define performance indicators needed to measure the company’s pursuit of strategic initiatives in a standardized way
  • Ensure supporting data is captured in appropriate systems and can be accessed/understood by stakeholders
  • Coordinate the building and maintenance of data models, reports, and dashboards providing insight to stakeholders
  • Visualize and articulate performance results 
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
  • Partner with data scientists, finance, accounting, and other product teams to build and deploy data solutions
  • Track progress and trends of key strategic initiatives and projects, adjusting tactics as necessary
  • Facilitate data driven decision making by embedding intuitive intelligence solutions into business processes 
  • Train users on reporting and decision-making models
  • Enable stakeholders and dealerships to drive action utilizing provided intelligence solutions. Gather feedback supporting a continuous improvement loop 
  • Provide analysis of adjacent industries and competitive benchmarks 
     


Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field (Data Analytics, Business Admin, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field). Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5-10 years

  • Experience with data modeling and data visualization
  • Strong analytics and statistical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills and ability to present complex information clearly
  • Proficiency with Power BI (and/or Qlik/Tableau), Excel, and PowerPoint
  • SQL/R/Python/VBA or similar experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous tasks

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
•These are entry level opportunities
•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
