Ready to drive the Lurie brand forward and support our business growth? We are looking for a highly-motivated and creative professional to join our Marketing and Business Development team.

This role is ideally suited for a creative and high-energy Marketing Specialist with experience in digital marketing (website, social media, e-mail marketing) and design (graphics, brand standards, collateral, and marketing resources) We are looking for a hand-on creative problem solver with exceptional communication, organizational, people, and process skills to ensure all internal and external communications are engaging, consistent, and on-brand.


Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Design/Creative/Branding

  • Create exceptional graphics, designs and other visual elements with skill and efficiency using the Adobe Creative Suite. Be able to think in concepts, improvise ideas and move fast with (at times) minimal direction to bring our brand elements to life.
  • Skillfully review, copy-write, brand and finalize the graphics and branding on our firm communications, brochures/collateral, advertising, digital assets, and proposals.
  • Update and maintain marketing materials, including one-pagers, PowerPoint presentations, and other collateral, according to brand standards.
  • Create and edit videos for internal communication and external marketing purposes.


Digital Marketing

  • Responsible for building/evolving/scaling the Firm s brand and lead generation capabilities through digital and social media platforms
  • Bring your WordPress website design skills and experience that elevate our firm s website user experience and performance (design, content, analytics, and functionality) for and
  • Develop SEO strategies that drive traffic and ROI for the Firm
  • Create savvy social media posts and e-mail marketing campaigns that include videos and photos; prepares content for posts. Help our firm showcase its culture and community connections.

Content Marketing

  • Build and execute plans to leverage the Firm s extensive thought Leadership (e.g., blogs, podcasts, publications, events) through organic and paid social media and digital campaigns, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and more.
  • Research, strategy and develop content marketing in collaboration with our team s PR/Communication Manager.
  • Be comfortable ghostwriting for internal and external communications.
  • Take an active role in planning, marketing and executing special events such as seminars.
  • Coordinate, organize and manage all promotional marketing needs - from small giveaways to large-scale event support and trade show booths.


Project Management and Organization

  • Work closely with HR team to design internal support and related materials for firm events, bringing the intranet to life with color and design, office/event signage, and other projects.
  • Skillfully track and update projects, creative assets and templates in our marketing database.
  • Other tasks as requested, including but not limited to event marketing support, technology setup for live (Audio/Video/Microphone) and virtual presentations (GoToWebinar, Zoom, Teams, etc.) - a plus.



Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related, professional work experience within a professional service environment, marketing agency or related business - a plus if your experience is within the accounting, consulting or financial services industry.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent in marketing, or communications or related field.
  • Strong acumen with design and website software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, and WordPress.
  • Experience with digital marketing, social media publishing tools, email marketing platforms (such as ConstantContact, ActiveCampaign,etc.), CRMs (such as Hubspot, etc.), and marketing task/project management platforms (such as ).
  • Strong acumen with Microsoft Office Suite (including Publisher.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and related file storage/collaboration technology, such as SharePoint, and others.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong sense of urgency and excellent organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines; multi-tasking abilities are integral to the success of this position.
  • Strong project management skills - the ability to design concepts, drafts and execute our content marketing goals quickly, under sometimes limited direction, and budget/track your time to meet a high level of production and daily requests.
  • Analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative impediments, and prioritize work.
  • Ability to take direction from multiple sources, prioritize and reprioritize as necessary.
  • Ability to work as a team and develop relationships quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and to contribute to the team s culture and success.
  • Proven to be successful in positions where planning ahead and troubleshooting have been key requirements.
  • Ability to quickly ramp up learning and understand new systems and processes.
  • Professionally represent the Firm through participation in professional, charitable, and/or civic organizations and networking events under the direction of the Marketing Director.
