Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:
Disassembly, cleaning, lubricating and reassembly of molds.
Maintain mold vault and staging area to include proper marking, listing and placement of molds.
Maintain toolroom equipment to include products for lubrication, cleaning as necessary.
Maintain, PM, change inserts and repair tools to production schedule.
Change date codes
Make pickups and deliveries to vendors and suppliers as necessary.
Fill our work order when repair or versions are completed.
Prepare molds for shipping.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a plastics/molding manufacturing company is preferred.
Have an understanding of plastics processing requirements for molds is a plus.
Clean, troubleshoot, and reassemble the company s active molds.
Must be fork lift certified or willing to become certified.
Mechanical knowledge of tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
Able to determine the kinds of tools and equipment that are needed to do the job.
Ability to work as a member of a team as well as able to work independently.
