Plant 3D Designer - Chemical Processing Group

Requirements:

Experience working with P&ID s and piping Isometric drawings

Per the manager: will be designing piping, P&IDs, tanks, valve racks, design revisions (as the initial design is done), installation support and as-built drawings

Familiarity with CAD and/or BIM platforms including AutoCAD Plant 3D

Familiarity with Drafting and Design Standards

lA minimum of 2 years recent designer experience or a Design degree and experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D

Additional Preferred Requirements:

Candidates with strong AutoCAD experience are highly preferred

Experience in the nuclear industry (NRC), medical industry (FDA), or other highly regulated industry is a plus

Familiarity with Revit and SolidWorks is a plus.

Job Description:

Creating and modifying PFD s, P&ID s and 3D piping in AutoCAD Plant 3D

Creation and cleanup of piping designs and isometrics

3D Modeling including components, process skids, facility plans (mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, electrical, etc.), and general details from a variety of vendors and CAD/BIM software

Developing the design and drafting of complex piping drawings given basic information such as P&ID's, GA's, piping specifications, equipment arrangement drawings, etc.

Modifying 3D models (tanks, vessels, and equipment including piping)

Detailed mechanical drawings
