SolidWorks Mechanical Engineer - pay is up to $100,000

SolidWorks Mechanical Engineer Located in Dane County Pay can be up to $100,000 depending upon experience Some occasional travel to customer sites This full time, permanent SolidWorks Mechanical Engineer is at a smaller machine manufacturing company that makes products to maximize the productivity and efficiency of customers. The employer cares about it employees and works with employees to accomplish the employee goals. Employees matter here and can make a large impact on the company. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

• Creating entire machine designs as needed
• Reading and understanding engineering prints for part assembly
• Utilizing engineering prints to create detailed engineering designs in SolidWorks
• Updating existing engineering prints as needed
• Traveling occasionally to customer sites as needed

The successful candidate must have a background that includes:

• An engineering degree
• Two or more years of mechanical design experience
• Two or more years of SolidWorks or AutoCAD experience
• Possess the ability to occasionally travel to customer sites as needed
• Possess a solid work history
• Being a US citizen or green card holder
• Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
