As an Environmental Engineer, you will work closely with environmental laws and regulations, and act as a subject matter expert in our Environmental Services department with the focus on air, water, energy, hazardous waste, wastewater, sustainability regulations and compliance.

What you will do:
Provide support to Silgan s manufacturing plants regarding environmental regulations, compliance, and sustainability
Regularly visit assigned manufacturing plats to assist them with training on environmental regulations and sustainability
Assist with regulatory inspections, emergency response, and enforcement actions
Manage sample collection, analytical testing, and recordkeeping for air, water, ad waste in compliance with federal, state, and local environmental requirements
We need you to have:
Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science; Engineering; Science or related field
Completed a minimum of one (1) class in each of the following areas: Air, Water/WW/SW, Waste, Sustainability, SPCC, Safety and Process Improvement
Self-Motivated, Detailed-Orientated, and Communication Skills
