The enterprise Learning and Development (L&D) Manager will lead end-to-end strategy and execution of the learning roadmap for your assigned business unit(s). You will partner closely with business leaders and HR business partners (HRBPs) to understand business strategy and key capability needs. Through your leadership, you will collaboratively develop and manage a portfolio of learning interventions to meet current and future capability needs. You will play an integral role in delivering training programs that are practical, repeatable, and sustainable. The role serves in an operational and Center of Expertise (CoE) capacity. Our ideal candidate will have a passion to enable SCJ people to achieve their full potential, and to ensure our programs are consistently great across the organization. This position is based at our headquarters in Racine, Wisconsin.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as an ambassador and leader for SC Johnson and our mission to be the planet's most trusted company, at work for a better world.
Inspire personal accountability for career growth and development, whilst promoting and championing SCJ's learning interventions and talent tools.
Execute impactful learning solutions that drive the business strategy.
Deliver world class experience for your internal customers.
Drive the continual optimization and maturity of learning systems and programs, aligned to enterprise and business strategy.
In partnership with the Learning Solutions team or vendor partners, develop impactful learning solutions that will drive the business strategy. This includes designing, developing, deploying, maintaining, and evaluating functional learning solutions.
Participate in broader team projects and initiatives to continuously improve L&D programs at SC Johnson.
Develops a comprehensive menu of training interventions, programs, and toolkits.
Drive global process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for local flexibility.
When appropriate, advocates for the benefits of existing content, maximizing scale and efficiency.
Leverage Learning Management System and existing tools to eliminate manual processes/work and drive efficiencies.
Align with the business to discover impactful ways for measuring training effectiveness.
Make recommendations on program changes and conduct cost/benefit analysis of potential operational improvements.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree.
5+ Years Learning and Development and or Program Management experience.

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

Excellent Stakeholder management and executive presence with the ability to partner and develop relationships with senior level leadership.
7+ Years Learning and Development and or program management experience.
Experience working in an FMG or consumer goods organization.
Ability to influence and network effectively, establishes credibility quickly, build strong relationships with peers, stakeholders, and key client partners.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Strategic, data-driven thinker, able to recommend solutions.
Ability to collaborate across different levels of the organization, including senior levels (e.g. VPs).
Must be able to operate independently but understand when to escalate issues.
Experience interacting in a global and highly matrixed organization.
Master's degree.

Job Requirements:

Full time with occasional operational support outside core business hours.
Ability to travel when conditions return to normal 10%.
Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees.
