PSI Engineering is looking to hire an Applications Engineer for their growing division.

Essential Functions:
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Review customer technical specifications.
Manager multiple direct reports
Selection of pumps, valves and control equipment.
Preparation of proposals.
Troubleshoot technical problems and provide recommendations for customers.
Present clear verbal and written technical explanations to customers.
Make necessary engineering calculations to support product selection/recommendation.
Ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget.
Create submittal documents by transferring design drawings onto project title blocks.
Use customer FTP project website to upload submittal documents and download returned documents.
Qualifications
Knowledge of:
Design, materials, and operational requirements of rotating equipment (pumps, seals, and valves) highly desired.
Fluid dynamics, designing/sizing piping systems, pumps, tanks
Principles and practices of engineering.
Terminology, methods, practices and techniques used in mechanical engineering and manufacturing.
Ability to:
Problem-solve and work constructively with customers and co-workers.
Manage multiple projects at once
Interpret engineering drawings.
Resolve system design issues.
Ability to take initiative, think creatively and work independently.
Exercise professional engineering judgment to achieve results consistent with objectives.
Experience and Education
B.S. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree.
3+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience in a design-build setting
Licensed P.E. is a plus
Experience overseeing capital projects
Familiarity with CAD software a plus (AutoCAD Autodesk).
Equipment engineering experience (pumps, compressors, and valves)
Systems design experience (pump, compressors, and valves
