Sr. Curtain Wall Design Technician

Job Summary: As a Sr. Current Wall Design Technician at Permasteelisa North America, you will be challenged by the unique nature of every project we do and you will constantly be learning from the autonomy that you are granted by your manager. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for understanding project specifications, including the typologies, areas and systems used in various projects.
• Responsible for adhering to the project "Phases" determined by the Design Project Manager.
• Utilize information received from System Design Leader/Project Design Manager to create submittal documents, shop and fabrication drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred, or Associate degree (with relevant experience) in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
• Fluent in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and AutoCAD with an aptitude to learn any required Permasteelisa in-house software.
• 5 to 7 + years related experience. Experience in construction/curtain wall industries a plus.
