IC Physical Design Engineer
This role is an Hybrid onsite position. # days at site and 2 remote. Once Testing begins will require 5 days a week onsite.
Responsible for CMOS ASIC Place and route, timing closure, and power analysis of rad hard ASICs.
YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Must be a US citizen due to contractual requirements
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Experience in IC Physical Design/IC Place and Route
WE VALUE
Professional knowledge of design tools: STA tools, synthesis, place and route vendor tools Synopsys, etc.
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Self-starter, motivated and takes initiative and able to work independently
Strong technical problem-solving skills
Designs new products and makes improvements to existing products. May evaluate products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability and ensure project completion. Works with other members of the engineering staff to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
