Position Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in the overall success of their organization by evaluating, specifying, engineering, integrating, commissioning, and troubleshooting powertrains for industrial equipment. You will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, processes, budgets, and timelines; and making any necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion of these projects.

Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school, or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • 3+ years' experience working with Medium Voltage (4160vac) Drivetrain and power distribution systems.
  • 1+ year experience working with Low Voltage (up to 600vac for UL508A standards) or (690vac for IEC standards) Drivetrain and power distribution systems.
  • PE License in Electrical Engineering preferred, but not required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of standard protection and control technologies used in medium and low voltage power distribution products.
  • Proven experience creating one-line diagrams, P&I diagrams and MSR sheets, electrical schematics, and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or ePlan.
  • Knowledge in the application of the National Electrical Code and of electrical safety systems (OSHA and NFPA 70E guidelines).
  • Knowledge in the application of the International Electric Code (IEC) standards desired.
  • An understanding of PLC based controls and communication protocols desired.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand and communicate with professionals of other disciplines.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills in the English language; must be fluent in English.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done with high quality and in a professional manner.
  • Assure the company and its mission are consistently presented in strong, positive image.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Eligible work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
