The Epling research group in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Virginia has an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate.

This research project focuses on reducing Pd and Rh content in three-way catalyst formulations for exhaust emissions control. This project is in collaboration with General Motors and BASF.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: A Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related field is required by the start date. Preferred experience includes heterogeneous catalysis, catalysis characterization, bench-scale catalytic reactor operation, kinetic data analysis and strong communication skills.
