As a Digital Innovation Co-Op, you will have an opportunity to participate in some of our Digital projects or participate in R&D for new technologies we are proving out. Examples of projects and technologies include Bobcat Machine IQ, Bobcat Features On Demand, Data Analytics and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Our delivery methodology is Agile. We operate in a highly collaborative environment with strong accountability and empowerment. Our teams are distributed and partially remote. We value diversity, innovation, and creativity. Fresh perspectives, pragmatism without losing ambition and vision, are critical.

Role & Responsibility

We are looking for Co-Ops with a business or a technical background

Business Analyst
•    Research and compare technology options for new problems
•    Implement prototype solutions
•    Explore our IoT data lake. Help transform data into information and insight
•    Assist in setting up data and conducting tests on newly developed software solutions and products
•    Collaborate with product owners, product managers, and business partners to understand processes and solution needs

Developer/Engineer
•    Research and compare technology options for new problems
•    Implement prototype solutions
•    Develop and write code for software solutions for Enterprise and Cloud Native solutions 
•    Assist with conducting and creating automation processes for testing software solutions
•    Collaborate with solution architects, and developers to understand technology, processes and solution needs

Job Requirement

•    Jr or Sr pursuing a bachelor's degree in Management, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Candidates pursuing other degrees who can demonstrate a strong interest in technology will be considered.
•    Experience: 0>2 years

Business Analyst Skills:
•    Ability to understand business processes and process flows
•    Ability to prepare and organize data for analysis
•    Ability to dig in and understand technology
•    Self-learner and detailed oriented
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
•    Flexibility with daily tasks/projects
•    Enjoys working with people

Developer/Engineer Skills:
•    Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Object-Oriented programming
•    Familiar with architectures and technologies such as Cloud, API, Microservices and Databases
•    Knowledge of development best practices is a plus
•    Self-learner and detailed oriented
•    Flexibility with daily tasks/projects

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
•These are entry level opportunities
•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
