Mechanical DesignerLocation: Hybrid - Racine, WI Kelly Services has been asked to find a Mechanical Designer for their client in the Racine, WI area. The Mechanical Designer will take the lead on various mechanical/parts redesign projects and be responsible for a set of assigned product codes. The Mechanical Designer will work closely with Purchasing & Suppliers on part matters. Qualifications 5 years of experience working with CAD, Creo and/or various design programs 5 years of experience applying Mechanical design programs for on-road/off-road applications 5 years of experience redesigning parts and all related components 5 years of experience in the Agriculture industry Compensation Commensurate with Experience 6 month contract - likely extended Full Benefits available through Kelly Services Responsibilities Take lead on various mechanical / parts redesign projects, as assigned. Identify alternative solutions for mechanical parts in back order Work closely with Engineering colleagues to assist with Engineering Action Requests (EARs) and projects, as assigned May work directly with dealer/customer for part fit-up activities Build on the existing framework and establish forward thinking approach to long-term support of mechanical parts, used on Agriculture (AG) and Construction (CE) off-road equipment.
