Maintenance Technician 1st Shift

Location: Lou-Rich, Albert Lea, MN Status: Non-Exempt Hourly Type: Full-time

Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7am until 3:30pm. OT may be required during the week and or weekends.

Position Description

The Maintenance Technician Is responsible for the mechanical equipment and or structure at Lou-Rich. Maintenance Technician duties involve the performance of operations and the use of tools and equipment of several trades, such as carpentry, electrical plumbing, etc. Work involves a combination of planning and layout of work relating to repair of the area, mechanical and/or electrical equipment; installing and aligning new equipment; general repairing of the building. The Maintenance Technician must be able to perform preventive maintenance by using ISO 9001 procedures. Other duties as assigned by the maintenance technician supervisor.

The maintenance technician must have all safety training provided by Lou-Rich

Must have a good understanding of all safety equipment used in the Press Room/Paint Room

High school diploma or equivalent and 18 years of age or older

The maintenance technician must have good communication skills

Must be able to perform preventive maintenance by using ISO 9001 procedures

Must pass a pre-employment screening which includes a drug screen
