Proposal Manager
The successful candidate must be able to meet the following requirements:
Effectively plan, organize, and manage the proposal process
Contribute to proposal strategy that results in a high-scoring and compelling proposal
Define document structure and create outlines, storyboards, and other tools to assist content developers in crafting a compelling proposal that meets the client's requirements
Develop schedules that incorporates client deadlines and accounts for all critical milestones of proposal development
Oversee proposal team members and serve as the single point of contact to other support organizations throughout the proposal's development
Identify accountable content developer and reviewer assignments
Work with content developers to meet proposal deadlines
Track client changes to the RFP throughout the pursuit process and communicates the information to the pursuit team.
Facilitate review cycles for compliance and compelling value, including facilitation of color team reviews.
Develop proposal production plan and communicate with support areas for efficient execution
Oversee the quality control process for all client-facing materials
Oversee print and proposal packaging for all client deliverables, including customized deliverables developed for the client
Deliver a quality and complete proposal, on time
Ensure a proper close-down of the proposal process and standardized archival of client documents post submission.
Throughout the proposal life cycle, the proposal manager must meet all milestones on time, ensure compliance of all client deliverables, and escalate issues in a timely manner.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Nine or more years of business solutions, technical consulting, or sales solutions experience
Experience working with technology products, services, competencies, solutions and offerings
Experience working with solution/product portfolios
Other Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills to persuade others through presentations, demonstration and written communication
Strong communication skills to listen to client and articulate back for solutioning
Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients
Ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution
Ability to articulate and present the business value of company solutions
Ability to present ideas, goals, problems, outcomes and processes to be understood by a diverse audience

Remote Office environment
Ability to travel on short notice
May require evening or weekend work
