Job Description
Be a part of an innovative and collaborative team that is changing how big data and analytics is delivered to the bank s corporate customers. You will be part of a team that is defining and delivering solutions for new data analytics products.
This a Data Analytics Solution Engineer role within the Corporate Payment Systems organization at US Bank. As a member of this Engineering team, you will be a pioneer of new ideas/future strategies, features, and products. Along with your teammates, you will build/prototype new
ideas quickly, measure the effectiveness, and assess viability. Your team, and
you, will have the autonomy to define your roadmap, move at your own pace, and deliver innovative solutions.
What you will do
Take ideas from concept to fully working prototype
Modernize technology stacks
Define and measure the results of those ideas and make informed product viability suggestions
Participate in all stages of the product life cycle: product brainstorming, design, and implementation
Ensure the successful transition of a successfully incubated idea
Not be afraid to fail
Bring your whole self to work
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Five to six years of relevant experience
Skills/Experience
Solution architecture, application design, data analytics, expertise in large scale customer facing enterprise Data Analytics/Big Data applications
o Rest API s CI/CD Deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
o Python/Spark/Scala
o big data database technologies (on one of these platforms: Azure/GCP/AWS)
