Accounting Manager

This Accounting Manager position is with a Manufacturing company that encourages your efforts and rewards your results. In need of an Accounting Manager, a growing software company is searching for an efficient, results-driven individual who can start right away. As the Accounting Manager, you would lead daily operations, which includes preparing and reviewing ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, producing financial statements, helping with regulatory reporting as needed, and other required duties. The ideal candidate will be capable of establishing and scaling the company's accounting and finance operations. Based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota,this is a tremendous opportunity to work for a company that will appreciate your efforts and reward your results. What you get to do every day

Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts

Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics and actual spend against budgets/outlook

Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes

Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies and procedures

Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet tight deadlines

- Knowledge of account reconciliation

- Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings

- Deep understanding of financial reporting

- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

- Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

- Solid technology and analytical abilities

- CPA/MBA preferred

- Recent relevant financial experience

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
