Transfer & Implementation Manager, Americas

In the new facility constructions (and facility extensions) projects this person will manage the T&I communication with all necessary global and local functions as described in the Project Handbook.
Manage workstreams that will ensure all equipment will be in place in time and with necessary documentation to run a production line or plant.

Job Description

Role Summary:

Transfer and Implementation is a process of securing the factory readiness for start up. T&I deals with various stakeholders involved towards successful preparation of new factory.

Main focus areas:

• Centre of excellence launch
• Purchasing and Sourcing initiation
• Factory Departments Growth and responsibility Control
• Mould, Production Line and Factory Standard Equipment delivery
• Overall cross functional coordination and execution
• Documentation secured in Local Language according to local regulations.
• IT and ERP systems ready to support various factory processes.
• Best Practices implementation

Essential Responsibilities:

Americas Transfer & Implementation Manager will be responsible for:

• Specify, supply and setup molds and line equipment - coordination through T&I calls
• Identify factory equipment and necessary upgrades
• Coordination of EQ support & installation teams
• Transfer blade documentation and know-how (WI, TIL) - coordination through T&I calls
• Production start-up support - collect and implement best practices
• T&I timeline and budget - close control with Commercial Teams
• Layout feasibility process coordination

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Master degree level
• Minimum 10 years of experience of which at least 5 years has been within composite production.
• Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience

Desired Characteristics:

• Lean Manufacturing experiences will be a major advantage
• Data management and Team Centre
• If based in Gasp??, Qc, must be able to communicate in both French and English.
• Self-driven
• Persuasive, structured and persistent
• Data driven and analytic
• Professional English language skills
• MS office, AutoCAD
