The Technical EHS Manager will be part of the Control, Verification & EHS department under Manufacturing & Industrial Strategy division at LM Wind Power. The role will focus on, amongst other things, ensuring Machine Safety/EHS compliant implementation & roll out of projects, continuous Machine Safety/EHS improvement, legal Machine Safety compliance, assist in ensuring Machine Safety resources, ensure EHS integrated management system is fully implemented and maintained

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Represent Machine Safety in root cause investigations and ensure correct implementation of preventive measures
  • Facilitate closing and raising of Machine Safety/EHS Non-conformances/ATS and follow-up
  • Ensures Machine Safety/EHS compliant implementation & roll out of projects and that Gates are followed
  • Facilitate LM Wind power ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification and Lead Frame Work where relevant
  • Ensure legal compliance of activities for equipment/projects/design ergo be the go-to person for Machine Safety/EHS
  • Proactively id and ensure continuous improvement of Machine Safety/EHS risks within LM
  • Conduct Machine Safety/EHS audits
  • Ensure fulfilment of Machine Safety/EHS-related KPIs

Required Qualifications

  • Master or bachelor's degree in Machine Safety/EHS sciences, engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar position. Strong working knowledge of legal standards and ideally with Machine Safety/EHS hands-on experience within blade manufacturing, including a proven track record of delivering on complex activities
  • CE/UL/3C certifications eg TUV Machine Safety Certification or similar
  • ISO 14001/ISO 18001 Auditor
