Welcome to Fall Line Capital. We are a private equity firm focused on acquiring and managing farmland across the United States. Our 20-person world-class team has been responsible for the development and implementation of some of the most advanced technologies and techniques used in commercial agriculture over the last decade. Our mission is to apply those technologies and best practices to improve both the productivity and sustainability of the farms that we acquire, generating outstanding returns for our investors while we preserve the quality of one of our country's most important natural resources, farmland. We also invest in startups developing technologies that are strategic to our land holdings. We are hiring a Regional Farm Manager who will manage our existing Northwestern Wisconsin portfolio of farms and farmer relationships. But she/he will also be tasked to expand our local portfolio in Wisconsin and potentially in other areas of the Great Lakes region. Our farm managers are the backbone of our mission and culture. We offer competitive compensation $100K+ depending on experience along with medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K and paid time off. What you will be doing: Source, underwrite, negotiate, and actively manage farmland investment opportunities. Interface with rural communities and work with our tenants to make our farms more productive and sustainable. Orchestrate the field trials of the new technologies developed by our startups. We pride ourselves on encouraging our farm managers to develop some deep technical expertise that can be used across our portfolio. What we re looking for: An organized and innovative person who thrives on ensuring that things run smoothly while constantly looking for ways to push the performances of conservation agriculture further. 3-5 years of related experience or background in farming, agriculture, agronomy, agricultural engineering, agricultural economics, crop and soil sciences, ag technology, and or relatable field. Ability to work longer hours during peak seasons.
