With our exponential growth, we are looking for a Vendor Manager to join our team, anywhere in the continental United States. In this role, you will utilize your knowledge of the telecommunications construction industry to build and grow partner relationships, while flexing your competitive side to hit goals and WIN!

The Role

Strive to provide the best customer experience every day
Source and recruit new construction subcontractor Business Partners focused on underground, aerial and splicing competencies
Build and maintain strategic relationships with large and small subcontractor corporations to support our nationwide construction footprint
Utilize various resources for sourcing; personal networks, social media, blogs/forums, passive searches, industry specific organizations/platforms, Google/Boolean etc.
Complete on-going reach outs, cold calls, and Business Partner screening
Partner with Operations Leadership to identify current and future Business Partner needs
Manage all follow-up communications; marketing channel generated leads and organic inquiries from potential Business Partners
Participate in the successful onboarding of new Business Partners and their teams
Consistently champion TAK's Mission and Values to all potential and existing Business Partners
Occasional travel as need, estimated 10% annually
Other items as assigned

Requirements

3+ years of telecommunication/cable/fiber/satellite industry experience required, focused on telecommunication construction and in a role that worked directly in the field, or supported field operations
Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
Ability to work nights and/or weekends occasionally as needed
Strong desire to "win", setting and achieving goals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; social media and other relevant platforms
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong ability to self-motivate, multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to build and cultivate positive relationships with internal and external customers
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
Champion a positive environment as a TAK team member
Ability to work indoors, sitting at a desk, utilizing computer equipment
