QUA Technician

QUA Tech-Second shift (2pm-10pm)
Cottage Grove-$26.71 hr.-Estimated 24+ months
Volt Technical Resources has an exciting opportunity with a well known manufacturer in their Cottage Grove Facility. As a Quality Technician you will support advanced Materials doing daily support activities that include testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and documentation updates.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting inspection and testing of glass bubbles products.
• Inspecting and dispositioning incoming raw materials.
• Quality Control Technicians are responsible for releasing acceptable product and containing unacceptable or potentially non-conforming product.
• Adhere to the Environmental Management System policies and procedures in performance of the job.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED or higher
• One (1) year quality control experience within a private, public, government, or military environment
• Associates/two (2) year technical degree(preferred)
• Strong math, science and computer skills
• Familiarity with test equipment such as environmental chambers, microscopes, etc.
