As the Hotel Restaurant Food Expeditor you will ensure a smooth workflow of food orders and help enhance quality and efficiency. Principal Duties and Responsibilities ( Essential Functions)

Ensure that all kitchen orders are prepared in a timely manner according to menu and customer specifications.
Act as a liaison between the front and back of house operations by receiving orders from wait staff, relaying orders to kitchen, and monitoring progress of all tickets.
Ensure that orders for each table are completed together and on time.
Ensure that To-Go orders are completed in time and with the correct priority.
Examine plating/packaging, portioning, temperature, and garnishing of completed food orders and review for accuracy.
Finalize presentation of plates and dishes.
Notify serving personnel when orders are complete and ready for delivery or deliver completed orders to guests.
Maintain complete knowledge of restaurant to include menu items, beverage selections, specials, promotions, events, and policies.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and safe working environment.
Based on business needs, may be required to work at other venues as assigned.
Perform all job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. One year related experience preferred.
The ability to successfully complete of ServSafe certification within three (3) months.
Basic computer knowledge and prior experience with a point-of-sale system preferred.
The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
The ability to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner.
The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, and move for duration of scheduled shift, including prolonged periods of standing/walking. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Team member must be able to operate a personal computer and/or point of sale system. The team member may occasionally be required to lift or move objects up to 20 pounds on a regular basis and up to 60 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free.
