As a Web Developer, you ll be a part of a fast-paced, well organized, and talented Marketing team! You would be performing a variety of duties related to the marketing of our organization and products.

Duties & Responsibilities

You would be responsible for:

• Gathering, defining, and implementing day-to-day web-based projects and updates as well as related project management
• Support Marketing and Management Information Systems departments in meeting overall Rice Lake Weighing Systems website business objectives
• Assuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all website updates

You ll also need to be able to:

• Work closely with marketing and information systems staff to gather requirements for website features and updates
• Work with external vendors to implement 3rd party systems, applications and technologies as needed
• Clearly document coding and development projects, technical specifications and infrastructure requirements for self-produced work and job processes

Requirements

• Qualified candidates will have a bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Website Development, Software Development or related field
• Plus 3-5 years of proven web development experience and an advanced technical aptitude and knowledge of web technologies including servers, databases and web development languages

• Experience with Umbraco CMS custom development and Azure environments
• Experience with the GIT distributed version-control system and web APIs
• Experience working with Google Search Console, Tag Manager, Developer tools and a knowledge of SEO is a plus

Additional Skills Needed:

• Strong knowledge of .NET (v4.0+) and .NET Core (v2.0+) libraries, C#, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL (RDBMS), Entity Framework and WEB API
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL and MySQL, stored procedures and user defined functions
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, HTML5, responsive web design
• Strong knowledge of the front-end frameworks Angular (v5.2+) and AngularJS (v1.2+), jQuery (v1.9+) and Bootstrap (v3.0 to v4.0+)
• Ability to develop front-end and back-end portions of an application or service
• Ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical coworkers
• Ability to manage development projects from concept through completion with the ability to turn projects around quickly
• Ability to prioritize projects and deliverables
