Sr. Auditor

Description Our reputable client is seeking a Senior Auditor to join the company for an interim opportunity.This contract basis position will be tasked with the efficient completion of accurate audits and maintaining a level of auditing quality and financial accuracy for the organization.

What you get to do every day

- Execute financial, operational or compliance audits under the supervision of the Internal Audit Manager

- Finish assigned audits within budgeted timeframes and costs

- Contribute to the creation of the annual internal audit plan and internal audit management

- Generate audit reports and introduce issues to the business, discussing practical cross-functional solutions

- Make sure to follow-up on any outstanding internal audit issues Requirements - Proven success acting in a project management capacity

- Must be able to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment with excellent written and verbal skills

- Bachelor degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting required

- Understanding of GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), COSO framework and risk assessment practices

- 6+ years of relevant public accounting or industry experience

- Ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment

- CPA designation or equivalent, CIA or MBA designation highly preferred
