Structural Engineer

Strom Engineering Minnesota has an exciting new opening for a registered Structural Engineer with a great company located in the Twin Cities, MN. A minimum of 5 years of job-related experience is required.

Duties:
Lead and work with others to successfully complete projects in a wide variety of markets.
Creates and executes project work plans and revises plans to meet changing requirements.
Manages team development and serves as a mentor for junior engineers.
Effectively communicates at all levels including with project team, managers and clients.
Identifies resources and assigns responsibilities.
Manages all aspects of a project and reviews deliverables before delivering to client.

Applies the firm s methodology and enforces project standards and quality assurance procedures.

Manages project(s) budget.

Maintains client files and manages day-to-day client interaction.

Skills/Qualifications :
B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis

Advanced degree and/or professional engineering certification (PE or SE) a plus
5+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Experience working effectively with a multi-disciplined design team(s)

Team player and proven positive attitude when working with both internal and external colleagues and clients

Must be a creative problem-solver

Outstanding organizational and project management skills

Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.A.
