Roofing Estimator
Great Lakes Roofing is hiring an experienced Roofing Estimator to work closely with the Regional Operations Manager estimating shingle projects in RoofSnap and estimating low slope re-roof projects. You'll also take responsibility for other administrative duties supporting both the production and sales teams.
Our Roofing Estimator must be experienced in estimating and roofing, and trained on the latest requirements of the industry. You'll prepare accurate, detailed estimates based on our customers needs and expectations. Coordinate with the regional operations manager to meet customers needs or support our roofing crews in the field.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: starting at $24.00 - $26.00 per hour - depending on experience; eligible for over time
Shift: First (6am), Monday through Friday
Approx. 85% of your tasks are on a computer or phone app. RoofSnap, Microsoft Suite, and other proprietary project management programs are necessary. You ll interface with multiple departments daily. Self-starter, intrinsically motivated and willing to say yes all describe you. Our project management system needs a linchpin, not a bottleneck.
Requirements:
No fear of heights or confined spaces & be confident climbing ladders
Ability to lift 55 pounds, handle materials, ladders, and tools
Knowledgeable about safety requirements and capable of complying with guidelines
