The Treasury Management Sales Officer (TMO) will focus on cultivating new relationships by prospecting and proposing alongside Business Bankers in Wisconsin. The TMO will cross-sell treasury products and bring new ideas to existing clients, while maintaining the exceptional service model of Wintrust Financial Corporation.

This TMO should have an outgoing personality with a desire for salesmanship emphasizing the value of our products to the client s operation and business needs. The TMO will focus on cultivating new relationships and deepening existing relationships alongside Business Bankers in Wisconsin.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Bring in new relationships alongside Business Bankers in Wisconsin.
  • Produce a proposal with an analysis statement review and competitive TM pricing/products/services.
  • In-Person and Virtual proposals and TM Review meetings. Presentations to Board of Directors and Finance Committees.
  • Cross-sell treasury products and bring new ideas to existing clients, while maintaining the exceptional service model of Wintrust Financial Corporation.
  • Retain and deepen existing customer relationships.
  • Communicate expectations and timelines effectively when onboarding new clients or new products.
  • Discuss pricing with clients and prospects - understand the difference between analyzed accounts and non analyzed accounts.

Requirements for this position:

  • Associates degree or equivalent education required, Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience in treasury management.
  • 5+ years' customer service experience, preferably in financial services.
  • Ability to work independently, while establishing strong working relationships with bank partners.
  • Have a deep understanding of Treasury Management and be well versed in products that support businesses with automation, account reconciliation, and efficiencies gained by implementing banking technology.
  • Posses a high degree of flexibility, organizational skills, and adaptability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to handle sensitive customer information and issues with tact and discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint for presentations.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Job requires driving you own car to bank offices in Milwaukee, Madison, Hartland, and various customer and prospect locations in Southeastern Wisconsin, and Rosemont Illinois Headquarters.
  • In office 2 - 3 days / week with flexibility. Could be based in Madison or Green Bay office.
