You ll Take Ownership Of:

Inspecting, troubleshooting & repairing mechanical, electrical & fuel problems on motorized power equipment
Discussing equipment issues, maintenance plans & work performed with customers
Performing service calls on the road
Performing routine engine maintenance (lubricating parts, replacing spark plugs, testing & inspecting engines for malfunctioning parts, repairing & replacing worn/defective/broken parts, reassembling & reinstalling components & engines following repairs)
Cleaning up after each project, keeping indoor & outdoor workstations clean & clear from obstructions, & maintaining clean & working service trucks
Prioritizing your work schedule, especially during busy seasonal times
Assisting in maintaining a safe & secure work environment by adhering to & striving to improve safety standards & reporting any suspicious activity
Clearly communicating with the Service Supervisor & Parts department to ensure parts are ordered & received in a timely manner
Record keeping accurately, including inspections, test results, work performed & parts used
Assisting as sales support if needed
Completing related tasks as assigned

Equipment Most Commonly Worked On:

Snow Blowers
Chainsaws
Portable Generators
Power Trowels
Garden Tractors
Golf Carts
Lawn Mowers (e.g., z-turn, riding mowers, etc.)
Various other equipment with 2- & 4-Stroke Engines

You ll Need To Have:

A valid Driver s License with a clean driving record
The willingness to work indoors & outdoors in all seasons

We d Love If You Have:

Engine Certification
Computer skills
2+ years of experience working with gas & small-engine repair
Customer service skills

Physical Requirements Of The Job:

Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Stand & walk up to 10 hours
Frequently push, pull, squat, bend & reach
