Primary - Pediatric Nurse

Lakewood Health System has an opening for a full-time Primary - Pediatric Nurse at our clinics in Staples and Pillager! The primary function will be to function within the level of knowledge, experience, license, certification and scope of practice to assist with care team with the implementation and coordination of patient care.

The Primary - Pediatric Nurse will also be responsible for assisting with patient flow by escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining and recording vital statistics, reviewing / updating patient records for allergies and medications following a standard rooming process. They will assist with answering care team phone calls, managing voicemails, results-note call backs, MyChart message management and replying to in-basket messages in a timely manner.

This is a full-time position working 64-80 hours every two weeks. This position will work mainly out of our Staples and Pillager Clinics and will also float to other clinic locations as needed.
Qualifications

1. Current MN LPN Licensure or Medical Assistant Certification

2. Current BLS certification

3. Ability to speak Spanish preferred, but not required

4. Ability to work independently or in a team environment

5. Excellent communication and typing skills

6. Previous Clinical and EPIC EHR experience preferred
