We are looking for candidates that are a fit for being the first face as guest and team members enter the hotel and casino. As a Security Line Officer, you are the front line of protection for the guest, team members and company. That includes the safety and protection of all, awareness of what is going on around you, filling out reports as needed, and the list goes on.

Below are some of the responsibilities as a Potawatomi Hotel & Casino Security Line Officer:

Execute security duties to adequately protect the life and property of guests, team members, company assets, and property.
Escort and observe guests and team members to ensure their safety and protection; identify potential safety hazards and report observations to the appropriate individual for proper resolution.
Generate necessary written reports regarding security related incidents involving guests, team members, property, and assets.
Attend to the medical needs of guests and team members on assigned shift; respond to critical situations and emergencies.
Ensure safe transportation of Casino's monies and gaming tokens including but not limited to assisting with the opening and closing of the gaming tables.
Request and review identification from all guests who appear to be under the legal age to ensure compliance with state and federal gaming regulations.
Maintain a working knowledge of guests and team members who have been banned from re-entering the property and advise appropriate individuals and departments when observing trespassers on property.
Operate mobile units including all forms of transportation if assigned driving responsibilities. Report all motor vehicle violations to management within 24 hours of incident if assigned driving responsibilities.
Maintain a working knowledge of the Casino's facilities as well as special events on property, in order to advise guests and fellow team members.
Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers, Security management, Surveillance, and other pertinent departments.
Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, standard operating procedures and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

What you need:

The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
A high school diploma or equivalent

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

1 year of guest facing customer service experience.
Prior security experience
1 year of college coursework can be accepted in lieu of 1 year of guest facing customer service experience.
